The Hollow Way is a terrarium shaped by contrast: clear, softly rounded enclosure surrounding a rugged landscape of sculptural wood. Rising to 30cm, its domed silhouette gives the composition a refined architectural presence while allowing every irregular contour within to remain beautifully visible.
At its centre, richly toned wood forms an expressive vertical structure, defined by deep hollows, weathered grooves and naturally uneven edges. Open passages cut through the form, creating shifting pockets of light and shadow that give the piece a sense of depth from every angle. Warm brown tones bring an earthy richness against the clarity of the surrounding dome.
Along the base, low green botanical detailing softens the composition, joined by pinecone-like natural accents and a miniature blue car. This unexpected detail introduces a quiet narrative quality, transforming the terrarium into a miniature landscape that feels discovered rather than simply arranged.
The smooth transparent enclosure and dark circular base provide a restrained frame for the more tactile character within. Organic texture, miniature greenery and sculptural negative space come together in a decorative terrarium that feels both contemplative and distinctive—a small landscape designed to invite a closer look.
