Whispering Woods captures the quiet poetry of a woodland landscape beneath a clear glass dome. Compact yet sculptural, the 18cm terrarium draws the eye inward, revealing a miniature composition shaped around the expressive contours of natural wood.
At its centre, weathered timber rises in an irregular, almost architectural silhouette, with layered grain, fractured edges and warm earthy tones giving the piece a sense of age and character. Soft green moss gathers around the base, creating a gentle contrast between rugged texture and delicate botanical detail.
The rounded glass enclosure lends clarity and refinement to the composition while preserving its organic character. Resting on a dark circular base, the dome gains a defined visual foundation, allowing the earthy browns and fresh greens within to stand out with understated depth.
Thoughtful details reveal themselves gradually, including a tiny human figure nestled within the landscape, introducing a subtle sense of scale and narrative. More than simple plant décor, Whispering Woods is a miniature world designed to bring an intimate connection with nature into a considered interior.
