A botanical interpretation of one of the world’s most recognisable silhouettes, the Folivana Map Italy transforms the distinctive outline of Italy into a sculptural piece of natural greenery. From its elongated peninsula to the separate form of Sicily, the composition celebrates the country’s iconic geography through a beautifully textured botanical surface.
The map is filled with natural preserved reindeer moss, creating a dense, softly dimensional landscape in rich, varied shades of green. Its organic texture contrasts elegantly with the clean, dark outline framing the geographical form, giving the piece a refined architectural definition while allowing the moss to remain the visual focus.
Preserved rather than living, the reindeer moss retains its natural appearance without watering, trimming, or routine maintenance. With appropriate indoor conditions, the preserved moss can maintain its decorative character for approximately 5–6 years, offering enduring greenery without the care requirements of living plants.
Designed exclusively for indoor use, the Folivana Map Italy Preserved Moss Frame brings together botanical texture, contemporary wall décor and geographical form in a distinctive statement piece. Its combination of natural material and precise silhouette creates an expressive yet understated presence suited to considered residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.
