A botanical interpretation of an iconic silhouette, the Folivana Africa Map Preserved Reindeer Moss Frame transforms the familiar outline of the African continent into a sculptural piece of natural décor. Its distinctive organic profile is defined by a slim contrasting border, allowing the rich green moss surface to become the visual focus.
The map is densely finished with natural preserved reindeer moss, creating a soft, richly textured landscape with subtle variations in depth and tone. The irregular character of the moss gives the surface a beautifully tactile quality, while the precise continental outline introduces a more architectural expression. Viewed from different angles, light and shadow reveal the natural dimension of the preserved foliage.
Designed exclusively for indoor use, the preserved moss brings enduring botanical character to interior environments without the demands of living greenery. It requires no watering, trimming, pruning, or routine plant maintenance, making it an effortless way to introduce natural texture and greenery into a space.
The preservation process allows the reindeer moss to retain its natural character and appearance for approximately 5–6 years or more under suitable indoor conditions. Its lasting colour, organic texture, and maintenance-free nature create a considered balance between botanical beauty and everyday practicality.
Presented on its freestanding support, the Africa Map Moss Frame feels equally considered as botanical art and as a sculptural interior object. The contrast between its clean structural framework and naturally textured moss creates a refined balance of geometry and organic form.
